Business and Development Director
Audrie Palmer is the Business and Development Director for Midland Community Theatre. She currently serves as chair for this year’s National Philanthropy Day event and is the president-elect for the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Permian Basin Chapter as well as a 2013-2014 graduate of the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certification program.
Audrie has worked in local fundraising for the past three years and has served as a volunteer with area nonprofit organizations such as Senior Link Midland, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Aphasia Center of West Texas, Midland Habitat for Humanity and Stonegate Youth. She has a BA in Journalism from the University of North Texas and moved to Midland in 2007 to work as a reporter for the Midland Reporter-Telegram before transitioning into nonprofits in 2013. She was previously at the Museum of the Southwest where she started the Ugly Christmas Sweater Run and helped with the Museum’s $5.4 million capital campaign to renovate and restore the Historic Turner Mansion.
She is currently finishing her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas-Permian Basin and in her free time likes to run, swim and bake cupcakes that she sells under the pink tent at the Midland Downtown Farmers Market.
