Support

Legacy Society

To sustain Midland Community Theatre and build upon its great achievements, a substantial endowment is essential.  In 2008 Paula Cahoon, Rosalind Redfern Grover, and Joanie Holt realized this need and created the Legacy Society to support MCT’s endowments. The members of the Legacy Society provide a donation to both MCT’s endowment and operating budget as part of their membership purchase.  Since its inception, the Legacy Society has made an enormous impact to MCT’s Endowment Fund.

Many benefits come with being a member of this great Society.  To show appreciation for their support, the Legacy Society holds exclusive member events throughout the year in association with different productions.  These events include complimentary drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres prior to viewing the show from the best seats in the house!  Also in recognition of their support, the south wall of the main lobby features a display honoring our Legacy members each year, as well as being listed in the Prompter for all season shows.

MCT relies on the gifts from all of their members but the Legacy Society members in particular to produce great theatre for Midland and the surrounding areas. We are committed to building Midland Community Theatre’s endowments and encourage you to become a Legacy Society Member and help secure a future of great theatre and entertainment in the Permian Basin.

“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
