More than 40 years ago, MCT’s founder, Art Cole, helped create the vision for The Cole Theatre. Over the next two years, MCT will expand upon his vision by increasing the usage of the facility for the entire community. But to get there, we need your help.
Midland Community Theatre cannot continue our founder's vision without your financial assistance.

The expansion will increase the size of the lobby by over 3,000 square feet, providing much needed space for future events and rentals. An outdoor courtyard patio will also be added to be enjoyed during performances and other functions.
Project will improve traffic flow, eliminate crowding and allow for new usages of MCT by the community for functions, parties and even weddings. The new space will include an updated concessions area, box office and gift shop.
The addition of a 24' X 50' (1,200 sq. ft.) LED Wall on the Davis Theatre I stage will enhance audience members theatre experience and help improve the quality of shows at YOUR community theatre.
The LED Wall and technological upgrades will help to create new job and educational opportunities for scenic designers and learning design skills for students. This will reduce the scene shop workload with less need for physical scenic elements.
By nearly tripling the amount of dedicated educational classroom space, MCT Education staff will not have to compete for classroom space with productions in rehearsal halls and dance studios.
In addition to expanded classroom space, MCT's education department will have more space for movement and visual arts for classes, workshops and events.
