Shrek: The Musical

Sides are available for checkout at the Midland Community Theatre during box office hours (Tues – Friday 12 pm – 5 pm) or scroll down to download the individual song cuts.
For auditions we ask that you identify all roles you are interested in on the audition form. All audition material requested at the audition (song cuts, dance call) will be provided at the audition, but auditionees are encouraged to look at song cuts in advance. Sides may be requested at callbacks as needed, but will not be required for the audition.
Audition Dates and Times
Shrek: The Musical

Roles Available for all ages.
Youth: Actors under 13 (Must be able to read and take directions)
Teens: 13 – 17
Adults: 18+
Auditions for Shrek: The Musical will take place on October 31st for All Ages (Youth/Teens 10am-2:30pm and Adults/Teens 2:30pm-5:30pm), and November 1st (5pm – 10:30 pm) and 2nd (6pm – 10pm) for Teens/Adults .
Walk-Ins will be accepted but will wait until sign-up auditionees have completed their timeslot.
If callbacks are needed, they will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd.
Character Breakdowns
Shrek: The Musical

This production will utilize understudies and swings. Understudies are typically in the ensemble and will understudy a lead role, understudies are in every night in their ensemble track. Understudies will have a guaranteed show in their understudy track. Swings are not in the show each night, and will only cover if there is an Understudy track going up, or another actor out of the show. Swings will have at least 1 guaranteed Ins based on their track coverage.
