For auditions we ask that you identify all roles you are interested in on the audition form. All auditionees will be provided an audition side on the day of.

Audition Dates and Times

Dear Evan Hansen

Auditions for Dear Evan Hansen will take place on February 22nd and 23rd at 6:30 PM.

Callbacks will be held on February 24th upon request.

The audition signup will close on Friday afternoon, February 20th. Walk-Ins will be accepted but will wait until signup auditionees have completed their timeslot.

Evan Hansen, 17, awkward, anxious (vocal range: G2-C5 )

Heidi Hansen, 40’s, Evan’s mother, nurse in night classes (vocal range: F3 – Eb5)

Zoe Murphy, 16, Connor’s younger sister, in jazz band (vocal range: F3 – E5)

Connor Murphy, 17, struggling with his mental health, ultimately loses battle (vocal range: C3-G#4)

Cynthia Murphy, 40’s, Connor and Zoe’s mother, stay at home mom (vocal range: F3-E5)

Larry Murphy, 40’s, Connor and Zoe’s father, busy dad (vocal range: Bb2-G4)

Jared Kleinman, 17, nerdy kid that’s funny enough to usually not get bullied (vocal range: D3 – B4)

Preparation Requirements

One song cutting and one “monologue” side will be requested during auditions. If auditioning for ensemble only, you may select any material.

Scene’s may be read opposite a member of the casting committee. The committee member will read side from the production table while the auditionee has free use of the rehearsal space. Please be prepared, and familiarize yourself with all roles you are interested in as you may be asked to read a second monologue.
